About

A tactical switcher among 4x S&P 500 (SPYU), core bonds (IUSB), and 2x volatility (UVIX), using trend, momentum, and stress checks to go risk-on, risk-off, or hedge during extremes.
NutHow it works
It toggles among 3 holdings: SPYU (4x S&P 500), IUSB (diversified US bonds), or UVIX (2x VIX volatility). Risk-on (SPYU) when the S&P 500 is trending up or very oversold; risk-off (IUSB) when tech or long Treasuries just fell hard or stocks lack momentum; UVIX around extremes (very hot markets or crashy whipsaws). RSI=hot/cold 0–100; MA=average price; drawdown=peak-to-trough loss. SPY/SPXL/QQQ/TMF are just thermometers; you don’t hold them. High-risk: SPYU/UVIX can lose fast. Trades on signal change; ~10% drift allowed.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy aims for higher upside—23.39% annualized vs the S&P 500’s 17.96%—by tactically switching among leveraged equity, bonds, and volatility hedges. It seeks rallies while managing extremes with active risk controls.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
