About
A fast-moving market-timing strategy that tries to trade the S&P 500 using inflation signals, bond-vs-tech leadership, and “too hot/too cold” market readings.
This strategy mainly bets on the U.S. stock market using a few quick “if/then” rules.
It first checks whether inflation expectations look strong, then whether bonds are acting stronger than tech stocks, and then whether the S&P 500 looks unusually hot or cold.
Based on that, it flips between: aggressively bullish stocks, aggressively bearish stocks, regular S&P 500 exposure, long-term Treasury bonds, or a defensive mix of inverse S&P 500 and gold.
Out-of-sample annualized return 25.85% vs SPY 15.91%, driven by inflation-aware, regime-based timing and levered exposure. Higher upside with hedges (bonds, gold). Higher risk (max drawdown ~46.6% vs ~18.8%), but stronger long-run growth.
