About

Crash-first, trend-second. If fear (via VIXM) is spiking, own VIXM. Otherwise, own the single best 3‑month trender among chips, the S&P 500, energy, commodities, or solar.
NutHow it works
First it watches VIXM, a fund that usually jumps when market fear spikes. A simple 0–100 “heat” score (RSI) over ~40 days checks if fear is hot (>69). If yes, it buys VIXM. If not, it puts 100% into whichever has the strongest 3‑month uptrend: chips (SOXX, NVDA, AMD), S&P 500 (SPY), energy (XLE), broad commodities (DBC), or solar (ENPH). It switches when signals change.
CheckmarkValue prop
Outperforms the S&P on risk-adjusted terms: OOS Sharpe ~1.38, Calmar ~1.82, alpha ~0.46, ~78% annualized OOS return vs ~18% SPY. Note higher drawdowns (~43%) due to concentrated, crash-first momentum.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
