About

A two-mode, volatility-aware rotation: (1) when volatility surges, go all-in VIXM; (2) otherwise, pick the top performer among chips, broad market, commodities, energy, and solar over the past 90 days and go all-in there. No regular rebalancing; concentrates risk in one asset at a time.
NutHow it works
Two-mode rule set: - If volatility is high (VIXM momentum reading above 69 on a 40-day window), invest all in VIXM to hedge against fear. - Otherwise, evaluate seven assets (SOXX, NVDA, AMD, SPY, DBC, XLE, ENPH) by how they performed in the last 90 days and put all your money into the single best performer. - Rebalancing is not done on a fixed schedule; asset switches occur only when the trigger conditions fire. The portfolio is always fully invested in one asset at a time (no multi-asset diversification in a single period). - The label “Black Swan Catcher” indicates a defensive hedge during extreme events, while the Rotator aims to ride momentum in sector/market leaders during normal times.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
