About
A one-holding-at-a-time strategy: it normally buys the strongest recent winner among stocks, chips, energy, or commodities, but jumps into a volatility fund when market fear becomes extreme.
This strategy usually puts all its money into just 1 investment: whichever has been trending up the most over the past 3 months among chips, the S&P 500, energy, or commodities.
But first it checks a “fear gauge” called VIXM. If fear has surged to an extreme level, it switches fully into VIXM instead, aiming to benefit from market stress.
Out-of-sample upside: ~55% annualized return with ~1.06 Sharpe, rotating to the top winner (chips, energy, SPY, or commodities) and hedging with VIXM on spikes. Higher potential than SPY, but with ~63% max drawdown.
