About

A fast, rules-based, one-fund-at-a-time strategy. It rides tech-led uptrends with 3x ETFs (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL), fades overheated spikes with UVXY, and shifts to Treasuries (TMF/SHY) or inverse ETFs (SQQQ/TECS/SOXS/TMV) when risk rises. Uses trend/RSI/commodities.
NutHow it works
It first asks: are stocks trending up or down (moving average = trendline)? Are rates rising or falling (via TLT)? Are commodities strong (inflation). Then: - Uptrend: rotate into 3x tech/semis (e.g., TQQQ, TECL, SOXL, SPXL/UPRO), usually buying the recent weekly dip (mean‑reversion). - Overheated (RSI = hot/cold meter): briefly buy UVXY (VIX) to fade. - Downtrend/rising rates: flip to inverse tech (SQQQ/TECS/SOXS) or TMV. - Falling rates: use TMF or SHY. Checks signals daily; typically 100% in one fund. Uses 3x/UVXY—very risky.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~43.4%/yr vs SPY ~23.6%, Calmar ~1.65, drawdown ~26%. A regime-switching, 3x-tech strategy captures rallies, hedges spikes with UVXY, and rotates to Treasuries/defensives—strong upside, higher risk than SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
