A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

Aggressive, daily, tech‑heavy strategy built around TQQQ. It rides uptrends in 3x tech/semis, then switches to volatility hedges, bearish ETFs, or cash when signals flag “too hot” or fast selloffs. Includes a small cannabis/biotech sleeve.
NutHow it works
Trades daily. It rides tech uptrends, then gets defensive when a heat gauge (RSI: 0–100 from recent ups/downs) says markets are too hot or start falling. Core is TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100). In risk‑on it rotates into TECL/SOXL/FNGU/UPRO (3x tech/semis/FANG/S&P). If gains look extreme (RSI≈80 or +5.5% day), it flips to UVXY/UVIX (volatility). On sharp drops, it moves to cash (BIL) or bear ETFs (SPXU/SQQQ), sometimes SVIX. Small side sleeve: cannabis/biotech. Mainly tech/semis; sometimes S&P, small caps, real estate, or cash.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy shows superior risk-adjusted gains vs the S&P 500: Sharpe ~1.95 vs ~1.52, Calmar ~5.26, and ~166% annualized return vs ~32%, with ~31% max drawdown. Tech-led with hedging.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
