About
A quarterly, buy-the-dip sector rotation: rank SPDR sector funds by 14‑day returns, buy the 3 worst performers equally, and hold for a quarter to try to capture rebounds. Concentrated and can lag in strong trending markets.
Every quarter, it looks at the past 14 days of performance for nine SPDR sector funds that each track a slice of the S&P 500 (Tech, Energy, Financials, Health Care, Industrials, Staples, Discretionary, Utilities, Materials). It buys the 3 that fell the most, splits money equally among them, and holds until the next quarter, aiming to catch a rebound.
Strong risk-adjusted punch: o/s Sharpe ~1.40, Calmar ~1.22, max drawdown ~17.6%, beta ~0.81. A quarterly buy-the-dip sector rotation across 9 SPDR sectors, targeting mean-reversion for solid returns with lower downside vs SPY.
