About

Chase space stocks when the space sector is trending up; otherwise shift into bonds and defensive sectors. It always holds two positions, chosen by a simple recent‑strength score, and splits the money evenly.
NutHow it works
It first checks the space sector’s trend using ARKX: if ARKX’s 50‑day average price is above its 200‑day, that’s an uptrend. Then it buys 2 space/aerospace stocks with the strongest recent gains (via an RSI score: 0–100; higher = stronger). If not, it goes defensive, buying 2 bond/defensive‑sector ETFs that have fallen the most lately (lower RSI). The two picks are split 50/50.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~69% annualized return, Sharpe ~1.19, Calmar ~1.91. A 2-name space/defense strategy with a regime filter offers higher space-cycle upside and structured risk control vs. the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
