About

Tactical US stock strategy. QQQ’s 10‑day RSI is the market thermometer: buy 3× QQQ on sharp dips, buy UVXY when overheated. Otherwise, own an equal‑weighted mix of the 25 strongest large‑cap stocks by recent returns and RSI (often tech‑tilted).
NutHow it works
It uses a 10‑day “speedometer” (RSI) on QQQ (Nasdaq‑100): - If RSI < 31: buy TQQQ (a 3× version of QQQ) to play a rebound. - If RSI > 82: buy UVXY (a volatility fund) to hedge a likely pullback. - Otherwise: split 50/50 between two equal‑weighted baskets of 25 US large‑caps—top by 10‑day return and top by 10‑day RSI.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample results show superior risk-adjusted returns: OOS Sharpe ~1.58 vs SPY ~0.15, annualized return ~27.8% vs ~1.1%, max drawdown ~3.74% vs ~4.51%, Calmar ~7.41. Higher upside, lower risk than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
