About

Owns the 5 strongest mega‑cap U.S. stocks in uptrends; hides in an inverse S&P 500 fund (SH) when the trend is down or overheated. Uses simple “speed” gauges (moving averages, RSI) to time entries and exits.
NutHow it works
It reads SPY (tracks the S&P 500) to judge trend. If SPY is above its 200‑day average, it buys the 5 strongest names (equal‑weighted) from SPY + ~100 biggest S&P 500 stocks, using 3‑month performance. If that uptrend looks overheated (RSI>80; a 0–100 speed/heat gauge), it temporarily holds SH, a fund that rises when the S&P 500 falls. If SPY is below the 200‑day, it mostly holds SH and only switches to the 5 leaders when short‑term signals hint at a bounce (5>20‑day or very low RSI), using 20/10/2/5‑day lookbacks.
CheckmarkValue prop
Regime-aware strategy that hedges with SH in overheated/down markets and targets the top 5 mega-cap leaders in uptrends. Diversifies risk, adds downside protection, and uses disciplined, rule-based timing beyond plain SPY exposure.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
