About

A weekly, equal-weighted tilt between Growth Top 10 and Value Top 10, chosen by which side (VUG vs VTV) has performed better over 126 days.
NutHow it works
- The model rebalances every week. - It first checks which side to tilt to by comparing the 126-day cumulative return of VUG (Growth) to that of VTV (Value). - If Growth outperformed Value over that 126-day window, the portfolio holds an equal-weighted list of the Growth Top 10 stocks (around 10 big-growth names). - If Value outperformed Growth, the portfolio holds an equal-weighted list of the Value Top 10 stocks (classic value names). - Each stock in the chosen group gets the same share of cash (equal-weight). - Rebalancing resets weights to equal and updates the group selection weekly.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
