About
Tactical semiconductor trend strategy. Buys SOXX with a 10% SOXL boost when trends are up or after sharp selloffs; otherwise holds mostly short‑term Treasuries with a small inverse long‑bond hedge. Two sleeves smooth the on/off signals.
Rides chip-stock uptrends; goes defensive when weak.
Risk-on: 90% SOXX (semiconductor basket) + 10% SOXL (3× chip fund). Risk-off: 90% SHV (short‑term Treasuries) + 10% TMV (3× inverse long‑bond).
Two equal sleeves check trend: price above its average (200‑day with a 50/200 cross; 100‑day with a 20/100 cross) = buy. If below but RSI(10)<30 (very oversold), also buy; otherwise hold the defensive mix. Sleeves can split 50/50.
Capitalizes on semiconductor uptrends with two trend sleeves (risk-on/risk-off) to pursue outsized gains while limiting losses. OOS: ~40.9% annualized return vs SPY ~22.3%, Calmar ~1.06, drawdowns ~39% vs ~19%—for higher-tolerance, long-horizon investors.
