About

A daily, semiconductor-only strategy that buys big dips and fades big pops using 3x ETFs (SOXL/SOXS). It uses an RSI hot/cold meter, volatility and market checks, and can park in bonds/T‑Bills when things get rough.
NutHow it works
It trades only semiconductors, using 3x funds: SOXL (up) or SOXS (down). It tries to fade big 1‑day moves in semis (buy big dips, short big pops). It also checks an RSI “hot/cold” meter (0–100; >70 hot/overbought, <30 cold/oversold). When volatility spikes, it may park part of the money in short‑term bonds/T‑Bills. It also looks at overall market mood (S&P 500, Nasdaq), volatility signals, and bond trends to decide how aggressive to be. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~1.55 vs SPY ~1.33; annualized return ~153.6% vs ~21.1%; alpha ~0.55%. Regime risk controls (bonds/cash) reduce drawdowns; levered semis offer strong upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
