About

Daily switches between a cash-like T-bill fund (BIL) and a 3x semiconductor fund (SOXL). It only buys SOXL when SOXL is below its 200-day trend and consumer-staples momentum (XLP’s RSI) is very strong; otherwise it stays in BIL.
NutHow it works
SOXL = 3x daily semiconductor fund (very volatile). BIL = T-bill/cash fund. XLP = consumer-staples fund. RSI(10) is a 0–100 speed-of-rise score; >77 = very strong. 200-day avg = long-term trend line. - Each day: If SOXL is below its 200-day avg, then buy SOXL only when XLP’s RSI(10) > 77; otherwise hold BIL. If SOXL is above its 200-day avg, hold BIL. Rebalance daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Low-correlation, risk-managed strategy: mostly cash (BIL) with rare, tightly-filtered SOXL bets. In out-of-sample, drawdown ~6.6% vs SPY ~18.8%, near-zero SPX beta, offering diversification and downside protection, though upside may be limited.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
