About

A daily, rules-based plan that usually rides tech uptrends with TQQQ, but quickly pivots to cash, gold, or inverse funds when signals show weakness or extreme moves. Uses simple trend/momentum checks and occasional volatility hedges; one ETF at a time.
NutHow it works
Rebalances daily. First asks if the market is in an uptrend (SPY above its 200‑day avg). In uptrends it mostly rides TQQQ (3× tech). If short‑term looks overheated or fragile (using RSI—a 0–100 hot/cold score—and recent % moves), it may switch to UPRO/TECL (other 3× stock funds), gold (GLD), or cash (BIL). In downtrends it hedges with PSQ/SQQQ (inverse tech), gold, or cash. It also weighs stocks vs bonds/defensives (BND/AGG/IEF/TLT, CORP, VPU, STIP) to set aggressiveness; after very sharp up days it may hold VXX (volatility) briefly.
CheckmarkValue prop
Tech-led upside with disciplined risk controls. OOS: ~50% annualized return vs ~18% for SPY, Calmar ~1.11, solid risk-adjusted gains; but expect higher drawdowns (~45%) in stress, mitigated by timely hedges.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
