About

An aggressive, adaptive strategy that mainly rides a 3× Nasdaq fund (TQQQ) when the market is strong, but quickly flips to inverse Nasdaq, S&P, gold, or volatility hedges when signals from trend, hot/cold (RSI), or bond‑vs‑cash turn cautious.
NutHow it works
1) Market heat check: a 60‑day “hot/cold” meter (RSI) on SPY (or QQQ). If hot—and growth beats Utilities—it rides tech hard via a 3× Nasdaq fund (TQQQ). If not, it holds SPY or even shorts the S&P. 2) It watches trend lines (20/200‑day), recent % moves, and bond‑vs‑cash. After dips it buys; when too hot it briefly hedges with volatility funds. In choppy times it picks the mini‑rules that worked best lately. If trend breaks, it flips to inverse Nasdaq or gold.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~43% vs ~17% for the S&P; Sharpe ~0.87 (vs ~0.97); max drawdown ~47% vs ~19%; Calmar ~0.92. An adaptive, tech-led strategy that rides uptrends hard yet hedges downside, outperforming the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
