About

Daily tactical plan that rides S&P 500/Nasdaq uptrends with leverage, then quickly shifts to cash, bonds, inverse stock funds, or volatility hedges when momentum cools or drawdowns hit—aiming to capture rallies and sidestep selloffs.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks trend (is SPY above its 200‑day average?) and “heat” (RSI, a 0–100 gauge of how stretched prices are). In uptrends it rides stocks with S&P 500/tech funds (SPY, UPRO, TQQQ; SPYU = an S&P 500 bull fund). If prices get too hot or sink fast, it cuts risk to cash‑like T‑bills (BIL/STIP), flips to hedges (SH/SDS = short S&P 500), or briefly buys UVXY (volatility) after sharp pops. Bonds (BND/AGG/IEF/TLT) act as safety signals.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~64% vs ~20% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.16 and Sharpe ~1.11. Dynamic trend hedging seeks bigger upside while actively managing risk, offering stronger risk-adjusted performance than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
