About

A daily, high‑octane market‑timer that rides triple‑leveraged tech/semis in uptrends, flips to inverse ETFs or VIX when things look overheated, and hides in T‑bill ETFs when unsure. Heavy use of rules; expect big swings and frequent trades.
NutHow it works
- Rebalances daily and first picks the 2 most “active/volatile” sub‑models over the last ~2 weeks. - If the market trend is up and not overheated, it buys triple‑leveraged growth (TQQQ, SOXL, TECL, UPRO). - If things look “stretched” or the trend weakens, it flips into hedges: inverse 3x bears (SQQQ, SOXS, TECS, SPXS) or buys volatility (UVXY/VIXY). - If signals are messy, it parks in short‑term Treasuries (BIL/SHV/SHY). - Bond and VIX readings help decide which of the three modes to use.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 36.3% annualized return vs SPY’s 27.0%, Calmar ~1.60, stronger risk‑adjusted upside. Daily regime-switching rides 3x tech/semis in uptrends, hedges with inverse/volatility in heat, plus cash when unsure—bigger gains with managed risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
