About
A daily, high‑risk switcher that tries to surf big market swings. It reads simple signals (trend, an overbought/oversold gauge, and fear indexes) to flip between 3x tech/semis bulls, inverse/volatility hedges, or cash‑like T‑bills.
Think of RSI as a 0–100 “speedometer” for how stretched prices are (high=overheated, low=washed‑out). This strategy checks that, plus trend (vs 200‑day average), recent returns, and fear gauges (VIX). It then either: ride 3x tech/semis (TQQQ, UPRO, TECL, SOXL), hedge with inverse/vol funds (SQQQ, SOXS, TECS, SPXS, UVXY), or sit in T‑bills (SHV/BIL). It rebalances daily and picks the “spiciest” sub‑model by recent 14‑day volatility.
Out-of-sample edge: 36.3% annualized return vs ~27% for the S&P, Calmar ~1.60. Dynamic shifts capture rallies and hedge downturns for bigger upside—expect higher drawdown risk.
