About
A daily risk-on/risk-off switch: if semiconductors look stronger on RSI, go 50/50 into leveraged tech (TQQQ, TECL). If not, rotate into the top short-term performers among bonds (long or short), volatility, hedged equity, managed futures, or the U.S. dollar.
Daily, it checks whether semiconductors (SMH) show stronger recent momentum than diversifiers, using RSI (a 0–100 score of recent up vs down moves). If SMH beats managed‑futures (WTMF, 10‑day) or hedged‑equity (FTLS, 20‑day), it buys two 3× tech funds 50/50 (TQQQ, TECL). Otherwise it holds the 3 best 5‑day performers among long/short Treasuries (TMF/TMV), volatility up/down (VIXM/SVXY), U.S. dollar (UUP), hedged equity (FTLS), and trend‑following (KMLM).
Outperforms the S&P 500 in the out-of-sample test: roughly 50% annualized return vs ~18%; Calmar around 1.02 with diversified risk controls. Leveraged tech exposure drives upside, but expect higher drawdowns in choppy markets.
