About

Daily risk-on/off. If semiconductors are stronger than defensive/alt funds, go 100% into leveraged tech (TQQQ, TECL). Otherwise, hold the 3 short‑term winners among bonds, volatility, managed futures, long/short equity, and the US dollar.
NutHow it works
Each day it compares the recent “strength” of SMH (semiconductor stocks) to alternatives using RSI (a 0–100 score of recent gains vs losses). If SMH beats WTMF (managed‑futures) on a fast lookback, or FTLS (hedged stocks) on a slower one, it buys 50/50 TQQQ and TECL (both 3x tech). If not, it picks the 3 best 1‑week performers from TMF/TMV (long/short Treasuries), SVXY/VIXM (volatility), FTLS, KMLM (managed‑futures), and UUP (US dollar), equally weighted.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~34.7% annualized return with Calmar ~1.07 and Sharpe ~0.77 vs. the S&P—strong upside from leveraged tech in risk-on, plus macro-trend pivots when leadership fades, accepting higher drawdown risk (~32.5%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
