About

A one-at-a-time switcher: hedge with UVXY if Nasdaq tech looks overheated, buy 2x Nasdaq (QLD) on big dips, otherwise follow S&P 500 trends (SPY or 2x SSO). If trends are weak, park in gold (GLD).
NutHow it works
Chooses one fund at a time using simple signals. RSI(10)=a 0–100 score of how hot/cold QQQ (Nasdaq‑100, big tech) has been. MAs=average SPY price over 200 or 30 days. Rules: 1) If QQQ is very hot (RSI>79) → UVXY (volatility fund that jumps when stocks drop). 2) If very cold (RSI<31) → QLD (2x QQQ). 3) Else if SPY > 200‑day MA → SPY. 4) Else if SPY > 30‑day MA → SSO (2x S&P 500). 5) Else → GLD (gold).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: annualized return 33.43% vs 28.44% for the S&P 500; Sharpe 2.71 vs 2.40; Calmar 6.56; max drawdown ~5.09%. A rules-based, tactical switcher captures tech moves, hedges volatility, and adds diversification.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
