About

A daily “switchboard” that dials risk up or down. In uptrends it rides aggressive tech/semiconductor ETFs; when overheated or weak it hedges or flips short. Separate sleeves trend‑follow Treasuries and commodities and keep a gold stake.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if stocks are trending up or down (using moving averages) and how “hot or cold” they are (RSI, a 0–100 heat gauge: >~80 overheated, <~30 washed out). • Uptrend: lean into aggressive tech/semis (e.g., TQQQ, TECL, SOXL, UPRO). If overheated, add hedges (VIXY) or rotate to defensives (XLP, TLT, UUP). • Down/sideways: cut risk or use inverse funds (PSQ/SQQQ), sometimes guided by bond strength (TLT). Separate sleeves trend‑follow Treasuries (TLT/IEF vs SHV/SHY), commodities (DBC vs SHV), and hold gold (GLD). A monthly gate (BND) toggles risk‑on vs risk‑off baskets. It trades ETFs like TQQQ/TECL/SOXL/UPRO (leveraged stock), PSQ/SQQQ (short Nasdaq), TLT/IEF (Treasuries), DBC (commodities), GLD/UGL (gold), UUP (US dollar), VIXY/SVXY (volatility).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~41% annualized return vs SPY's ~20.6%, using a dynamic, multi-sleeve approach (tech momentum, hedges, bonds, commodities, gold) to compound while managing risk—note larger drawdowns in crises.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
