About

All‑in market timer that flips among 3x long or 3x inverse S&P 500/Nasdaq‑100 using short‑term trend (moving averages) and momentum (RSI) signals on SPY. Aims to ride trends; extremely volatile and vulnerable to whipsaws.
NutHow it works
Holds one 3x ETF at a time: UPRO (3x S&P 500), SPXU (3x inverse S&P 500), TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100), or SQQQ (3x inverse). 1) If SPY’s price is above its 2‑day average, compare 5‑ vs 10‑day averages: 5<10 → SPXU, else → UPRO. 2) If below, compare RSI(3) vs RSI(21). RSI is a 0–100 score of recent gains vs losses: RSI(3)≥RSI(21) → SQQQ, else → TQQQ. Very volatile.
CheckmarkValue prop
3x levered trend/momentum strategy designed to ride durable market moves and potentially outperform SPY in strong regimes. Out-of-sample data show upside when trends prevail, but with higher volatility and larger drawdowns; best as a high-risk satellite to core S&P exposure.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
