About

A slow‑growth, multi‑asset mix: 62.5% U.S. stocks (tilted to tech and chips), 12.5% consumer staples, 12.5% gold, and a 25% rates sleeve split between cash‑like Treasuries and a fund that benefits when long‑term rates rise. Rebalanced yearly.
NutHow it works
50% is split equally across SPY, DIA, QQQ, SOXX, and XLK (broad U.S. stocks with an extra tilt to tech and chip makers). 25% is split between SHV (very short‑term U.S. Treasuries; cash‑like) and TBF (goes up when long‑term interest rates rise). The rest: 12.5% in XLP (everyday‑goods companies) and 12.5% in GLD (gold). Rebalanced once a year. Note: the “TLT” label is just a note; the portfolio holds SHV+TBF.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: annualized return 24.6% vs SPY ~23%, Sharpe 2.61 vs 1.37, max drawdown 6.8% vs 18.8%, Calmar 3.61, beta ~0.38, alpha ~0.14%. Higher risk-adjusted growth with far stronger downside protection.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
