About

A rules-based, risk-managed strategy that steps out when markets overheat, buys dips selectively, and defaults to diversifiers (managed futures, long/short, USD). Adds global and regime filters to tilt between stocks, defensives, and bonds; limited, gated use of leverage.
NutHow it works
Rule-based portfolio for a smoother ride. When short-term “heat” (RSI: 0=cold, 100=hot) in stock funds is very high (~80+), it shifts to crash insurance (VIXY: fear), long Treasuries (TLT) or T‑Bills (BIL). When markets are washed out (~30), it buys quick rebounds in broad market, tech or semis. If no clear edge, it holds diversifiers like managed-futures (KMLM: trends in commodities/currencies/rates), long/short stocks (FTLS) or the US dollar (UUP). Separate sleeves trend‑filter emerging markets and rotate among stocks, defensives or bonds; 2x only in strong uptrends.
CheckmarkValue prop
Adaptive, rules-based strategy that trims risk in overheated markets and buys dips, delivering downside protection and diversified upside. OOS: drawdown ~5% vs SPY ~6.3%, Calmar ~4.83, Sharpe ~1.53, beta ~0.65—smaller drawdowns, steadier gains vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
