About

A rules-based, tech-tilted, risk-on/risk-off strategy. A panic switch handles wild markets; otherwise it uses momentum vs defensives and overbought/oversold signals to rotate among 3x tech, 3x S&P, Treasuries/cash, gold, defensives, or inverse tech.
NutHow it works
Step 1 (panic): if the S&P 500 gets very jumpy, it flips fast between 3x bull or 3x bear S&P funds, or hides in long Treasuries or tech, using short-term trend/speed tests (RSI = a 0-100 hot/cold score). Step 2: otherwise it asks if growth (QQQ) beats defensive utilities. If yes, it buys dips in 3x bulls. If not, it picks long tech, short tech, Treasuries, cash/T-bills, gold, or defensive sectors via overbought/oversold and trend filters.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~45.9% vs SPY ~21.7%, driven by tech leadership and rapid risk switches plus a panic guard to Treasuries/gold. Higher upside and diversified risk controls, though drawdowns can be large in volatility.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
