About

Aggressive, rules‑based tech/semis trend rider with crash defenses. Uses a triple‑leveraged Nasdaq fund in uptrends, shifts to cash/Treasuries or inverse/volatility hedges when markets overheat or weaken, and buys quick rebounds after sharp drops.
NutHow it works
It mostly rides big-tech uptrends using a “triple‑speed” Nasdaq fund (TQQQ). When stocks get too hot short‑term (RSI = a simple heat/cold gauge), volatility jumps, or bonds beat stocks, it cuts risk to cash‑like T‑Bills (BIL), Treasuries (TLT/TMF), or inverse/volatility hedges (PSQ/SQQQ, VIXY). After fast sell‑offs, it buys quick rebounds in tech/semis (TECL, SOXL). Trend filters (20/200‑day averages) gate entries.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~37.5% vs SPY ~18%, with Calmar ~1.26 signaling strong risk-adjusted gains. Leverages tech uptrends while crash defenses limit downside; higher drawdowns are the trade-off for bigger upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
