About

Daily, rules-based swing strategy: buys 3× tech/Nasdaq on dips when the long-term trend is up; hedges with volatility/inverse ETFs on rips; parks in cash/bonds when trend is weak. Uses KMLM (managed futures) as a cross-asset signal; also trades EM and gold.
NutHow it works
RSI is a short-term heat meter (0=cold, 100=hot). On rips (RSI very hot, ~80+), it hedges/shorts using volatility funds like UVXY (these often jump when stocks drop). On dips (RSI ~25–30) and if the long trend is up (SPY > 200‑day), it buys 3× tech/Nasdaq (TECL, TQQQ, SOXL). If trend is down it holds T‑Bills (BIL/SHV) or Treasuries (TLT/TMF) and sometimes inverse ETFs. A KMLM check (managed‑futures trend) tilts bull vs bear. Smaller sleeves trade EM and gold. Daily rebalance. Very high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Multi-asset, rules-based strategy with a tech tilt and hedges. Out-of-sample Calmar 3.71 and beta ~0.38 offer solid risk-adjusted growth and diversification, aiming for long-term returns beyond the S&P 500 with lower market exposure.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
