This strategy checks the market every day and rapidly switches between aggressive bets: mainly tech stocks, bets against tech, volatility funds that can rise during market panic, Treasury bonds, emerging markets, and a small gold sleeve. It uses simple tests for whether markets look overheated, washed out, or trending up/down. A key test compares tech to KMLM, a crisis-friendly trend-following fund: if tech looks stronger, it buys leveraged tech funds like TECL/TQQQ; if not, it may buy bearish funds like TECS/SQQQ.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
