About

A weekly, cash-first, rule-based strategy that uses drawdown and momentum signals to selectively tilt into a small mix of China, gold, Bitcoin, Nasdaq leverage, and volatility hedges, with most of the portfolio kept in cash.
NutHow it works
How it works in plain language: - The system starts with mostly cash (about 90%). - It runs a chain of checks using a few signals on several assets. - If signals flag risk (for example, one asset recently fell a lot), the model may tilt toward hedges or selective risk bets rather than staying in cash. - The assets involved are: YINN (China), UGL (gold with leverage), UVXY (volatility hedge), TQQQ (Nasdaq 3x), GLD (gold), and GBTC (Bitcoin exposure). - RSI and drawdown thresholds determine whether to buy a leveraged asset, hedge with volatility, or stay in cash. - Rebalancing happens weekly, so positions can change week to week based on the signals. - The aim is to capture opportunistic bets while keeping overall risk under control via cash and hedges.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
