About

Weekly, it puts 90% into one leveraged ETF: buy big dips in China or gold; if the U.S. market looks overheated, shift to volatility; if calm, ride 3x Nasdaq; otherwise hold 2x gold. The other 10% stays split in gold and bitcoin.
NutHow it works
Each week: 90% goes to one pick based on recent moves. • If China 3x stocks (YINN) fell >30% in ~3 weeks → buy YINN. • Else if 2x gold (UGL) fell >15% → buy UGL. • Else if the U.S. market looks overheated (SPY’s RSI>70) → buy volatility (UVXY). • Else if 3x Nasdaq (TQQQ) hasn’t dropped much (<15%) → buy TQQQ. • Else → UGL. 10% stays split: GLD (gold) + GBTC (bitcoin).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy beats the S&P on risk-adjusted return: Sharpe ~2.07 vs ~1.50; annualized ~117.5% vs ~19.9%; Calmar ~11.65. Higher upside with diversified leverage, though drawdowns can be larger (~10% vs ~5%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
