About

A contrarian, high‑risk switcher: when broad markets look overheated, it jumps to volatility (UVXY). Otherwise it buys sharp dips in 3x equity funds or, if no dip, parks in a dividend/growth ETF basket.
NutHow it works
It uses a 0–100 “heat” gauge (RSI) on many stock groups. If any look very hot, it moves 100% into UVXY, a fund that jumps when market fear rises. If not, but fear is heating up, it holds VIXM (another volatility fund) or SPXL (3x S&P 500). If fear is calm, it buys dips in TQQQ (3x Nasdaq), SOXL (3x semis), or SPXL; otherwise it sits in a dividend/growth mix (SCHD, DGRO, SCHG, QQQH). Risk is very high.
CheckmarkValue prop
Compelling edge: outsized out-of-sample returns (~52% annualized) vs S&P 500 (~20%), with better risk-adjusted metrics (oos Sharpe ~1.18 vs ~1.03; Calmar ~3.0). Uses RSI-driven regime shifts and volatility hedges to chase upside and curb losses.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
