About

Daily rotation among JEPQ, JEPI, XLK, BTAL, or BIL. Uses SPY’s 200‑day trend plus short‑term “heat” (RSI) from leveraged market gauges to avoid chasing overbought surges, buy select tech dips, or hide in defensive/cash ETFs.
NutHow it works
Each day it first asks: is the S&P 500 (SPY) above its 200‑day average (a long‑term trend line)? If yes, it usually holds JEPQ (income‑focused Nasdaq), unless very short‑term “heat” is extreme, then it steps to defense (BTAL) or cash‑like bills (BIL). If SPY is below its 200‑day, it either buys tech on deep dips (XLK), holds broad income (JEPI), or goes defensive (BTAL/BIL) based on quick “heat” checks. “RSI” is a 0–100 heat score; moving averages are typical price lines.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers higher risk-adjusted returns (Sharpe ~1.53 vs ~1.29), stronger annualized return (~28.7% vs ~21.5%), lower drawdowns (~14% vs ~19%), and a lower beta (~0.74)—more upside with less risk than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
