About

A daily, rules‑based strategy that opens the throttle when Bitcoin trends up, adds the strongest crypto‑related stock/ETF and some T‑Bills, and otherwise leans on a tactical stock engine that flips between hedges, 2× Nasdaq, or mega‑caps using a simple “heat meter.”
NutHow it works
1) Trend check: Is Bitcoin (BITO) in an uptrend (50‑day avg > 200‑day)? • Yes: ~50% tactical engine, 30% best crypto proxy (COIN/MARA/MSTR/BITQ/BITS/BTF/BITF), 20% T‑Bills (BIL). • No: ~95% tactical engine, 5% crypto proxy. 2) Tactical engine uses an RSI “heat meter” (0–100). • Too hot (QQQ/SPY very high): hedge (VXX or BIL). • Too cold (TQQQ very low): buy 2× Nasdaq (QLD). • Else: pick a mega‑cap (MSFT/AMZN/GOOG/AAPL/TSLA) or FNGD+QLD based on bonds (IEF) vs short‑Nasdaq (PSQ). 3) Scans 1–7‑week windows, favors recent laggards + one high‑vol pick; sizes by volatility; rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Rules-based strategy chasing higher upside than the S&P with BTC trend signals and crypto/tactical rotations. Out-of-sample annualized return ~55%, Calmar ~1.68, Sharpe ~1.28. Higher drawdowns (~33%) but stronger upside in trending markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
