A Microsoft-focused income strategy that usually holds MSFO, but shifts to cash-like T-bills or a defensive hedge fund when the market looks overheated or unstable.

This strategy is usually invested in MSFO, a fund built around Microsoft and option-income trades. But before buying it, the strategy checks whether several parts of the stock market look overheated using RSI, a short-term “too hot / too cold” gauge. If markets look too hot, it moves to defense: either BIL (very short-term Treasury bills, like cash) or BTAL (a fund designed to hold up better when riskier stocks struggle). If markets are not overheated, it stays in MSFO. After a sharp Nasdaq drop, it can also temporarily choose BTAL instead of jumping back in.

Defensive, MSFO-based income with dynamic hedges. In overheated markets it shifts to BIL/BTAL; in calmer times it targets MSFO income. Out-of-sample: ~19.6% annualized return, ~0.92 Sharpe, beta ~0.65 vs S&P.
