About

All-in switcher among SPY (S&P 500), GLD (gold), QLD (2x Nasdaq-100), or UVXY (volatility). Uses QQQ’s short-term extremes to bet on rebounds or pullbacks; otherwise holds SPY when trending up and shifts to gold when stocks trend down.
NutHow it works
It always puts 100% in one fund. - Check QQQ’s last 10 days of price speed (RSI: high=hot, low=cold). If it’s extremely hot (>79), buy UVXY (a fund that jumps when stocks suddenly fall). - If it’s extremely cold (<31), buy QLD (a 2x version of QQQ) for a rebound. - Otherwise, if SPY is above its 200- or 30-day average, hold SPY (S&P 500). If below both, hold GLD (gold).
CheckmarkValue prop
Outperform SPY on risk-adjusted metrics: oos return 32.18% vs 27.09%, oos Sharpe 2.61 vs 2.29, oos Calmar 6.32; near-market beta and ~5% max drawdown. Simple all-in regime-switching offers disciplined upside with manageable risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
