About

Hold 2x Nasdaq‑100 (QLD) when the S&P 500 trend is up or the Nasdaq‑100 is short‑term oversold; otherwise sit in short‑term Treasuries (SHY). Aims to beat the market while cutting drawdowns. Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
Each day the strategy picks one fund. If the S&P 500’s 21‑day average is above its 210‑day average, it buys QLD, a fund targeting 2x the daily move of the Nasdaq‑100 (big‑tech heavy). If that test fails but the Nasdaq‑100 looks oversold—RSI(10) under 31 (a 0–100 gauge of intense recent selling)—it still buys QLD to catch a rebound. Otherwise it holds SHY, a short‑term U.S. Treasury bond fund.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~31% annualized return vs ~15% for the S&P 500, with Calmar ~3.0. It leverages Nasdaq on uptrends and uses Treasuries to limit losses, delivering stronger risk-adjusted returns.
