About
An aggressive, rules-based switcher that fades euphoria (often buying UVXY), buys tech/semis after hard drops (TECL/SOXL/TQQQ), and hides in Treasuries or cash when risk rises. Signals combine overbought/oversold readings, VIX trend, and bond/commodity regimes.
It watches a few simple dials: overbought/oversold (RSI = how “hot” or “cold” prices are), sudden pops/drops, fear (VIX) rising or cooling, and whether bonds/commodities lead. Then it flips fast between: UVXY/SVXY (fear vs calm), 3x tech/semis (TECL/SOXL/TQQQ) on sharp dips, and Treasuries or T‑bills when risk looks high. It aims to sell euphoria and buy panic.
Out-of-sample, this strategy beats the S&P on risk-adjusted return and growth: OOS Sharpe 1.55 vs ~1.41, annualized ~69% vs ~22%, Calmar ~2.22, alpha ~0.37. Dynamic rotations capture dips and hedge with vol/bonds.
