About

Aggressive switcher that buys UVXY (fear) when stocks look overheated, buys leveraged tech/S&P on sell‑offs, and otherwise rotates among dividends, bonds, gold, commodities, USD, or short‑vol (SVXY) using simple hot/cold gauges and volatility filters.
NutHow it works
Tracks a “hot/cold” score (RSI, 0–100) on tech, the S&P 500 and sectors. If many look “too hot” (~80), it buys UVXY—an ETF that jumps when market fear spikes—expecting a pullback. If things look “washed out” (~30), it buys high‑octane stock funds (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL/SPXL). Otherwise it rotates among dividends (SCHD/DGRO), bonds (TMF/TMV), gold (UGL), commodities (DBC), USD (USDU), energy (ERX), or SVXY (benefits when fear fades), guided by VIX and bond trends.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 1.81 vs 1.41; annualized return ~65% vs ~22%; Calmar ~3.25 shows strong risk-adjusted gains. Drawdown ~20% vs ~19%. It leverages fear spikes and rebounds to outperform the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
