About

A tactical swing strategy: when stocks look overheated it jumps into UVXY (fear), when they look washed out it buys leveraged tech/semis/S&P for a bounce, otherwise it holds dividend ETFs or defensive hedges. Driven by short-term RSI and volatility signals; very high risk.
NutHow it works
It watches for short-term extremes using a “speedometer” (RSI). If many stock/sector funds look too hot, it buys UVXY (a fast “fear” trade that rises when markets drop). If they look beaten up, it buys 3x bull funds in tech/semis/S&P for a rebound. If neither, it parks in SCHD/DGRO. In rough patches it flips to hedges (VIXM, SVXY, gold, Treasuries, dollar, commodities) using trend/volatility cues. Very active and high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~65.6% annualized return vs ~22.5% for the S&P; Sharpe ~1.86 vs 1.41; Calmar ~3.29. Greater upside with adaptive hedges and selective leverage—aiming for stronger growth with managed downside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
