About
Rules‑based plan centered on QQQ: hold QQQ in uptrends; move to T‑bills, staples (XLP), or gold+inflation bonds (IAU+TIP) when risk rises; occasionally buys 3× QQQ (TQQQ) after sharp sell‑offs. Uses trend and “hot/cold” signals.
Own QQQ (Nasdaq‑100) when the trend is up. If volatility spikes (VIXM overheated), park in BIL (T‑bills). If trend weakens, rotate to XLP (defensive staples). When cash yields are high, switch to a defensive mix (IAU gold + TIP inflation‑linked bonds). On rare deep dips, briefly buy TQQQ (3× QQQ) to play rebounds. Rules use moving averages (trend) and RSI (short‑term “hot/cold”).
Out-of-sample edge: 28.0% annualized vs S&P 22.8%, Sharpe 1.82 vs 1.43, Calmar 2.37, max drawdown 11.8% vs 18.8%, beta ~0.84. Stronger risk-adjusted growth with built-in risk controls and disciplined dip buys.
