About

A daily trend-and-momentum strategy: when the overall US market is rising, it holds the 4 strongest recent winners (mostly tech/AI/semis/crypto/miners). When the market weakens, it moves to bonds; if bonds are weak too, it holds gold and silver.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if VTI (a fund for the whole US stock market) is above its 30‑day average price. If yes, it equally holds the 4 best performers over ~1 month from big tech, chip makers/AI, robotics, uranium/lithium miners, and Bitcoin/Ethereum ETFs. If not, it goes defensive: if BND (a broad US bond fund) is above its 30‑day average, hold BND; otherwise split 50/50 into IAU (gold) and SLV (silver). Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers superior risk-adjusted returns vs the S&P 500: Sharpe ~2.05 vs ~1.10, Calmar ~9.6, and explosive upside from momentum in tech/AI/crypto. A dynamic risk-on/risk-off framework helps protect capital in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
