About

Rules rotate among momentum, low‑volatility, and volatility‑hedge ETFs using RSI triggers on QQQ (Nasdaq 100) and SPY. Buy TQQQ after sharp selloffs; hedge with VIXY+BTAL when overheated; otherwise hold SPLV/USMV/SPMO.
NutHow it works
1) Check QQQ’s 10‑day RSI (a quick heat‑meter of recent moves). If <30: if UVXY’s 10‑day volatility is high, buy TQQQ (3× Nasdaq 100). Else split USMV (min‑vol stocks) + SPMO (momentum). 2) If QQQ’s RSI >80, split VIXY (vol spikes) + BTAL (long safer, short riskier). 3) Otherwise use SPY’s 60‑day RSI: >60→SPLV (low‑vol S&P 500), <50→USMV, else→SPMO.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~39% vs SPY ~19%; Sharpe ~1.05, Calmar ~1.67. A tactical rotation that captures upside via momentum/low-vol picks with volatility hedges—aiming for stronger long-run growth than the S&P 500 with managed risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
