About
A switch-hitting strategy that uses recent moves in big tech stocks to decide between an aggressive rebound bet, an aggressive bearish bet, a defensive mix, or the broad U.S. stock market.
This strategy watches QQQ, a fund that represents big tech-heavy U.S. stocks. If QQQ has fallen hard recently, it buys TQQQ, an extra-aggressive fund that rises when those stocks rebound.
If QQQ has risen too much too fast, it buys SQQQ, which goes up when those stocks fall.
If markets look shaky, it shifts to a mix of gold miners and long-term Treasury bonds. Otherwise, it simply holds SPY, a broad U.S. stock market fund.
Out-of-sample edge: 32.16% annualized return vs S&P 20.93%, driven by regime-switching to ride Nasdaq rebounds and hedges in stress. Calmar ~1.00; solid risk-adjusted upside with active risk control, though higher drawdowns apply.
