About
A rules-based, low-beta mix: buy uptrends (mainly QQQ/tech), buy sharp dips selectively, and hide in T‑bills or volatility hedges in stress. Adds bonds and commodities only when trending. Aims for smaller drawdowns than the market; rebalanced daily.
Daily rules use two gauges: RSI (a short-term heat gauge: high=too hot, low=washed-out) and moving averages (trend lines: price above=uptrend). If stocks look overheated or fragile, it parks in T‑bills (BIL/SHV) or buys volatility airbags (UVXY/VIXY). When dips stabilize and trends turn up, it buys QQQ/tech (sometimes small 2–3x slices like QLD/TQQQ/TECL) or defensives (XLP/XLU). Separate sleeves trade bonds (TLT/TMF/TMV) and commodities (DBC; oil/gas DBO/UCO/FCG; agri DBA) only when they trend.
Low-beta, volatility-aware strategy offering steadier gains with smaller drawdowns than the S&P 500. Out-of-sample: Sharpe ~0.79, max drawdown ~4.70% vs ~5.07% SPY, beta ~0.45—safer downside with upside in uptrends.
