About

Rules-based, contrarian rotation: safe bonds when the market looks hot, a 3× tech fund after sharp selloffs, and otherwise an equal mix of big dividend names (plus TSLA), all driven by a simple 10‑day RSI on the S&P 500 proxy (SPY).
NutHow it works
It watches a 10‑day “heat meter” (RSI) on SPY, a fund that tracks the S&P 500. If that meter is high (>69, market looks overheated), it moves 100% to SHY (short‑term U.S. Treasuries). If very low (<27, market looks washed out), it moves 100% to TECL (a 3× tech fund). Otherwise, it splits evenly across WMT, MCD, HD, PG, PFE, JNJ, KHC, and TSLA. It changes only when the signal flips.
CheckmarkValue prop
Contrarian, rules-based strategy with stronger risk-adjusted gains and lower drawdowns. OOS: ~33.5% annualized vs ~22.2% SPY; max drawdown ~9.9% vs ~18.8%; Calmar ~3.40—better upside, less pain than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
