About

Daily tactical plan: ride uptrends with 3× Nasdaq (TQQQ) unless markets look overheated, then hedge with VIXY. In downtrends, buy extreme dips with 3–4× funds; otherwise hold VIXY or pivot to bonds (TLT) or a simple short (SH) when volatility gets extreme.
NutHow it works
Daily rules. First, is SPY above its 200‑day average (long‑term uptrend)? If yes, hold TQQQ (3× Nasdaq) unless short‑term “overheated” readings (RSI, a 0–100 heat gauge) in QQQ/SPY, then park in VIXY (volatility). If trend is down, buy extreme dips with TQQQ or SPYU (4× S&P). Otherwise favor VIXY; when volatility is extremely stretched, switch to TLT (long Treasuries) or SH (−1× S&P) using 20‑day trend/10‑day strength. BSV = short‑term bonds.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~52% annualized return vs ~17% for S&P, Sharpe ~0.98, Calmar ~1.02—clear, risk-adjusted upside. Hedge during risk-off; expect drawdowns up to ~51% in severe bear markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
