About

A tactical, rules-based strategy: ride the S&P 500 in uptrends, hide in gold/bonds/cash in downtrends, and make short, aggressive bets—long volatility when stocks look too hot, and long semiconductors after volatility spikes.
NutHow it works
It switches among a few ETFs based on simple “heat” and trend signals. RSI is a 0–100 score of how “hot” price moves have been; >80–90 = very hot. The 200‑day moving average is a long‑term trend line. If UVXY (volatility ETF) is extremely hot, it buys SOXL (3x semiconductors) for a rebound. If SPY/QQQ/XLP look extremely hot, it buys UVXY to bet on a quick pullback. Else if SPY is above its 200‑day average, it holds SSO (2x S&P 500). Otherwise it splits into GLD (gold), TLT (long Treasuries), and BIL (T‑bills).
CheckmarkValue prop
A tactical overlay combining trend-followers with volatility plays to seek upside beyond the S&P 500. Caution: out-of-sample results show large drawdowns and negative returns. Use with strict risk controls as a hedging supplement, not core.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
